Itinerary
Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our local representative and escorted to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of your day is yours to unwind, whether you prefer to relax in the hotel or take a refreshing dip in the pool, or simply soak in your new surroundings.
Your Delhi adventure begins where stories of emperors, poets, and revolutionaries linger in the air. In the morning, dive into the chaotic charm of Old Delhi, where time seems to slow as you board a cycle rickshaw—a gentle, eco-friendly ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Each street buzzes with a different craft: silks rustling in one corner, the aroma of spices wafting from another. At its heart rises the majestic Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, its vast white dome standing like a sentinel over the city. Climb its minarets for a sweeping panorama of old-world rooftops and tangled wires. Not far away, under the shade of trees, lies the serene Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi’s spirit lingers at the black marble memorial marking his cremation site.
As afternoon light softens, Delhi shifts gears. You cruise through Lutyens’ New Delhi, wide boulevards lined with colonial-era architecture. Your journey culminates at the towering Qutb Minar, a red sandstone and marble victory column etched with ancient verses—Delhi’s most enduring symbol of triumph and artistry. By the end of the day, you’ll have touched the soul of a city that embraces both its regal past and its riotous present in perfect harmony.
After breakfast, set out on a comfortable drive from Delhi to Jaipur, the famed Pink City and capital of Rajasthan. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours, traversing highways and rural landscapes dotted with mustard fields, dhabas (roadside eateries), and glimpses of village life along the way.
On arrival in Jaipur, check in at your hotel and take some time to refresh and relax.
As evening falls, begin your introduction to Jaipur with a serene visit to the Birla Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple). Built entirely of white marble and perched at the base of Moti Dungri Hill, the temple glows beautifully under the twilight sky. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, it’s a peaceful space where intricate carvings and stained-glass depictions of Hindu mythology invite quiet reflection. Locals gather here for evening prayers, and the gentle ringing of temple bells adds a soft soundtrack to your first evening in this regal city.
Return to your hotel and relax.
Start the Jaipur sightseeing with a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal — the Palace of Winds — its delicately latticed façade rising like a pink honeycomb above the busy street. Once used by royal women to observe life below without being seen, it now stands as one of Jaipur’s most photographed and beloved landmarks.
After that ascend the winding road to the majestic Amber Fort, perched high on a rugged hillside overlooking Maota Lake. Built in the 17th century by Raja Man Singh I, this sprawling fortress of honey-hued sandstone and marble is a brilliant blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Step inside the Sheesh Mahal, or Mirror Palace, where thousands of tiny, mirrored tiles catch the light, creating a starry-night illusion fit for royal poetry and music recitals.
Return to Jaipur, the Pink City, where colours, sounds, and scents converge in a whirlwind of markets and monuments. Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the City Palace, still home to the former royal family. Wander through its grand courtyards, ornate gates, and galleries of royal regalia.
Next, marvel at the scientific genius of the Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century observatory where massive stone instruments were designed to measure celestial movements with remarkable accuracy.
Return to the hotel and relax.
After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to the royal charm of Jaipur and set out on a scenic drive to Agra, the former seat of the mighty Mughal Empire. The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours, but the road offers more than just distance — it weaves through centuries of history.
En route, make a memorable stop at Abhaneri, a quiet village that hides one of India’s most astonishing architectural wonders: the Chand Baori stepwell. Built in the 9th century, this geometric marvel descends over 3,500 symmetrical steps into the earth, forming a mesmerizing pattern that’s a photographer’s delight. Apart from its sheer beauty, the stop offers a welcome opportunity to stretch your legs and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of rural Rajasthan.
After this brief detour into ancient engineering brilliance, continue onward to Agra, where the echoes of emperors and artisans await.
In the late afternoon, step into the delicate elegance of the Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often referred to as the “Baby Taj.” Adorned with intricate marble inlay work and serene gardens, this lesser-known jewel foreshadows the artistry of the Taj itself. End the day with a relaxed heritage walk through Agra, weaving through quiet lanes and local markets that offer a glimpse into the city’s rich history and everyday rhythm — a perfect prelude to the marvel you’ll witness tomorrow.
Wake before dawn for a truly unforgettable experience — a sunrise-visit to the Taj Mahal, when the world-famous monument is bathed in soft golden light and the morning mist lends an ethereal glow to its ivory-white marble. As the first rays of sunlight kiss its domes, witness the Taj at its most serene and spiritual, a moment that captures the essence of love, beauty, and timeless craftsmanship.
After soaking in the magic of this architectural wonder, return to your hotel for a leisurely breakfast and some time to relax before continuing your day’s explorations.
Your exploration begins at the magnificent Agra Fort, a sprawling riverside citadel crafted from red sandstone and white marble. As you walk through its grand halls and hidden chambers, you’ll uncover stories of emperors and intrigue — most notably that of Shah Jahan, the visionary behind the Taj Mahal, who spent his final years here under house arrest, gazing longingly at his beloved creation from a gilded pavilion.
With packed breakfast, embark on a train journey to Varanasi, one of the most spiritually charged and ancient cities in the world. Revered by Hindus as Kashi, the City of Light, and also known as Benares, Varanasi is said to be older than history itself — a place where life, death, and eternity flow together on the banks of the sacred Ganges River.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
As evening descends, prepare to witness a deeply moving and unforgettable sight — the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Here, as the sun sets behind the temple silhouettes, young priests in flowing saffron robes perform a synchronized ritual of light and sound. Blazing oil lamps are raised to the heavens, ringing bells echo through the night, conch shells are blown, and sacred chants fill the air. The ceremony, filled with fire, devotion, and reverence, is not just a spectacle — it’s a spiritual experience that transcends belief and leaves a lasting imprint on the soul.
Wake before dawn for a truly soul-stirring start to your day with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. As your wooden rowboat glides over the sacred waters, witness the ancient rhythms of life along the ghats — from devotees performing sunrise prayers and ritual bathing, to the solemn dignity of cremation ceremonies. The first light of day casts a golden hue on the riverfront, creating a surreal, almost otherworldly atmosphere that stays with you long after you’ve returned to shore.
After breakfast, journey to Sarnath, one of Buddhism’s most sacred sites. It was here, over 2,500 years ago, that Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon, revealing the Eight-Fold Path to enlightenment. Explore the Dhamekh Stupa, a towering cylindrical structure dating back to the 5th century AD, surrounded by peaceful gardens, crumbling monasteries, and graceful Bodhi trees — a perfect place for reflection.
In the afternoon, delve into Varanasi’s legendary craftsmanship with a visit to a traditional silk weaving workshop. Here, generations of artisans create the city’s iconic Banarasi saris, known for their luxurious texture and intricate gold brocade. Watch the looms at work and perhaps choose a piece of living heritage to take home.
After a relaxed breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Varanasi Airport for your flight back to Delhi. As you soar above the Ganges, take a moment to reflect on the profound spirituality and timeless rhythms you’ve experienced in India’s holiest city.
Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be met and driven to a comfortable hotel located conveniently near the airport — perfect for a restful final night before your international departure. The remainder of the day is at leisure: unwind at your hotel, indulge in a spa treatment, or perhaps enjoy one last cup of masala chai while revisiting your favourite travel memories.
After breakfast (or a packed meal, depending on your flight time), you’ll be transferred to Indira Gandhi International Airport for your return or onward journey. As you say goodbye to India, you take with you more than just photos — you carry memories of timeless temples, royal forts, sacred rivers, fragrant spices, and warm smiles.
