South Korea Heritage Tour: Seoul to Gyeongju in South Korea

Spend five days travelling across South Korea on a route shaped by royal history, Buddhist heritage, coastal cities and mountain scenery. The program connects Seoul with Gongju, Jeonju, Gwangju, Suncheon, Yeosu, Jinju, Busan and Gyeongju, with a final day in Pyeongchang and the Seoraksan area before returning to Seoul. Visits include the Tomb of King Muryeong and Gongsanseong Fortress in Gongju, Jeonju Hanok Village, Suncheon Bay Garden, Yeosu’s Admiral Yi Sun-sin route, Jinju Fortress, Jagalchi Fish Market and Haeundae Beach in Busan, plus the UNESCO-listed temples of Gyeongju. The trip also includes a stop in Andong and time in Pyeongchang and Sokcho-style mountain landscapes on the last day.     Jeonju

    Seoul to Jeonju via Gongju

    Meet in Seoul and travel to Gongju for visits to the Tomb of King Muryeong and Gongsanseong Fortress. Continue to Jeonju and walk through Jeonju Hanok Village before hotel check-in and free time.

    Jeonju to Yeosu via Gwangju and Suncheon

    Travel to Gwangju for a visit to the May 18th National Cemetery, then continue to Suncheon for Suncheon Bay Garden and Nakan-eupseong Fortress. End the day in Yeosu with time to explore the city at your own pace.

    Yeosu to Gyeongju via Jinju and Busan

    Stop in Jinju for Jinju Fortress, then continue to Busan to visit Jagalchi Fish Market and Haeundae Beach. Travel on to Gyeongju for overnight stay.
