Luang Prabang to the Elephant Camp
Meet at your hotel or guesthouse, receive a short briefing and start riding out of Luang Prabang. The day includes a stop at Vat Phra Phon Pao for views over the town, then continues to the elephant camp and Tad Katscham waterfall before returning for the night in Luang Prabang.B, L - 2
Vieng Thong
Luang Prabang to Vieng Thong via Caves
Ride east from Luang Prabang through mountain roads and villages, with a stop at the cave area near the Mekong and lunch en route. Continue to the remote town of Vieng Thong for an overnight stay.B, L - 3
Vieng Xay
Vieng Thong to Vieng Xay via Sam Neua
Travel through forested highland scenery, stopping at Phoulao and Sam Neua before reaching Vieng Xay. The day passes through an area known for limestone formations and wartime history, with time to look around the town before the overnight stay.B, L
