Korea Express: Seoul, DMZ, Jeonju and Busan in South Korea

This seven-day small-group trip links Seoul with key places in the country’s north and south, combining palaces, historic neighbourhoods, a border-area visit, and time in Busan. The route also includes Suwon, Jeonju, Damyang and Haeinsa. The itinerary is guided throughout and uses a mix of city sightseeing and cultural stops. It starts in Seoul, continues through the DMZ area near Paju, and then follows a southbound route through Suwon and Jeonju before reaching Damyang, Haeinsa and Busan.     Arrival in Seoul

    Transfer to the hotel and free time. In the afternoon, you will receive information about the start of the tour.

    Seoul

    Seoul and the DMZ area

    Visit Aegibong Observatory in Gimpo, close to the border with North Korea, then continue to the Paju DMZ area for lunch. The day includes the National Memorial and Mangbaedan Altar, Imjingak Pavilion, a cable car ride, and a stop at Freedom Bridge. Bring your passport, as it is required. If the DMZ is closed, an alternative visit will be arranged. Later, return to central Seoul to see City Hall from the outside and continue to the nearby square.

    Seoul sightseeing

    Enjoy a longer visit in Seoul with Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and the War Memorial of Korea. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. The afternoon continues in Gangnam and ends with a stop at Lotte World Tower, where there is free time.
