This 8-day tour follows the Karakoram route from Islamabad to the Hunza region, with overnight stops that break the journey through the mountains. It includes time in Rawalpindi, Chilas or Naran, Hunza, Gulmit and Gilgit, with visits to several of the area’s best-known viewpoints and villages. The route combines road travel, guided sightseeing and free time in places such as Karimabad, Ganish, Attabad Lake, Hussaini Suspension Bridge and Passu. You will also have time for the historical forts in Hunza, the old settlement at Ganish, and the mountain scenery around Nagar and the upper Hunza valley. This program is suited to small groups and families who want a guided overland trip with hotel stays, meals and transport arranged in advance.

Rawalpindi
Arrival in Rawalpindi
Arrival at Islamabad or Lahore airport and transfer to Rawalpindi for the first night. The rest of the day is free after check-in. - 2
Chilas
Drive to Chilas via Naran or Babusar
Depart early for the mountain drive to Chilas. The route follows either the Karakoram Highway or the Naran and Kaghan road over Babusar Top, with an overnight stop in Chilas. - 3
Hunza Valley
Continue to Hunza
Travel from Chilas to Hunza Valley on the Karakoram Highway. Stop at the junction of the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges, then continue to the Rakaposhi viewpoint in Nagar before overnighting in Hunza.
