This 8-day trip combines Cairo, Giza, Aswan, the Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor, and the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo. It brings together Egypt’s best-known archaeological sites with practical travel between cities. In Cairo, the itinerary includes the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Saqqara, Memphis, the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo. From Aswan, the route continues by cruise with stops that include Philae, Kom Ombo and Edfu, before reaching Luxor for the West and East Bank sights. An optional visit to Abu Simbel is available from Aswan. The trip also includes guided sightseeing and overnight rail travel with meals on board as noted in the programme.

Travel from Cairo to the Giza Plateau to see the pyramids and the Sphinx, then continue to Saqqarah and Memphis. The day focuses on some of Egypt’s best-known ancient sites. - 3
