China Silk Road Highlights Tour

This 11-day private tour links Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Yangshuo and Shanghai in one route across China. It combines major historic sites, a high-speed train journey, and domestic flights between the southern and eastern legs of the trip. In Beijing, the itinerary covers Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, the hutongs, Mutianyu Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven. Xi'an adds the Terracotta Warriors, the city wall, the Bell Tower, Gao’s Courtyard and the Muslim Quarter. In Guilin and Yangshuo, the focus shifts to karst scenery, the Longji rice terraces, the Li River and West Street. The journey ends in Shanghai with visits to the Bund, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Lujiazui and Shanghai Tower. The tour includes a private vehicle for transfers and sightseeing, an English-speaking guide, selected meals as shown in the programme, and standard sightseeing tickets. Domestic flights are included in the programme and are paid separately on arrival as a local payment. Vegetarian and vegan meal requests can be arranged in advance.
